Heilir dagar í Glaðheimum

Heilu dagarnir hafa verið mjög skemmtilegir. Á mánudaginn var okkur boðið í heimsókn í Vogasel, sem er annað frístundaheimili í hverfinu, og vorum með páskaföndur. Í gær fengum við okkur göngutúr í Spilavini og lærðum allskonar ný spil og fengum að leika í kjallaranum. Krakkarnir höfðu mjög gaman af því og voru ánægð með daginn.
Í dag skelltum við okkur í bíó á myndina Rock Dog með öllum hinum frístundaheimilunum í hverfinu. Eftir hádegi var Elín frístundaleiðbeinandi með Hellaleikja-páska-rateik. Krakkarnir þurftu að leysa allskonar þrautir, býtta við kaupmann og sigrast á krabbaskrímslinu til að fá súkkulaðiegg frá páskafuglinum. Allt í allt frábærir dagar með frábærum krökkum!

The long days have been tons of fun. On Monday we went to visit Vogasel, another leisure centre in the neighborhood, and made Easter decorations. Yesterday we went for a walk to Spilavinir and learned all kinds of new board games and got to play in their basement. The kids had a lot of fun and were very pleased with the day.
Today we went to the movies to see the movie Rock Dog with all the other leisure centres in the neighbourhood. After lunch, Elín leisure counsellor had planned an Easter themed orienteering inspired by Hellaleikurinn – the family game she is developing. The kids had to solve puzzles, trade with the merchant, overcome the crab monster in order to get chocolate eggs from the Easter bird. All in all fantastic days with fantastic kids!
